Rohit Sharma Upset After Virat Kohli's Dismissal in Chennai Test

Virat Kohli struggled to score in the Chennai Test. He managed only 6 runs in the first innings and couldn't make a big impact in the second innings either. Kohli was dismissed LBW by Hasan Miraj, which led to an upset reaction from captain Rohit Sharma.

After Kohli's dismissal, cameras caught Rohit turning around and saying something, clearly showing his frustration. However, many believe it wasn't due to Kohli's performance. Instead, the issue was Kohli's decision not to review his LBW dismissal. Replays showed that the ball had hit his bat before striking his pad, but Kohli chose not to use the DRS.

Some speculate that Shubman Gill, who was batting with Kohli, might have discouraged him from taking the review. Others feel Kohli should have realized that the ball hit the bat. Rohit seemed annoyed that a review wasn't taken, which could have saved Kohli’s wicket. At the time of his dismissal, Kohli was batting well, having already hit two boundaries. India ended the second day at 81/3, with a lead of 308 runs. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant were still at the crease.
