Remo D'Souza and Wife Respond to Allegations of Financial Fraud



Bollywood choreographer Remo D'Souza and his wife, Liesel, are facing serious allegations of financial fraud. It has been claimed that the couple embezzled Rs 11.96 crore, prize money won by a dance troupe. The allegations stem from an incident that began in 2018, and according to a complaint filed by a 26-year-old dancer, the fraud continued for four years. 


On October 16, the dancer lodged a formal complaint at the Mira Road police station in Mumbai. The complaint states that Remo, his wife, and five others falsely claimed that the dance troupe belonged to them. They allegedly took control of the prize money the troupe had won during a small-screen show. In response to these allegations, Remo issued a public statement on social media. He expressed his disappointment and asked people not to believe in rumors. 


Remo emphasized the importance of knowing the truth before jumping to conclusions. Remo D'Souza has a prominent reputation in the dance world. He has worked as a choreographer and judge on several reality shows. He is also known for directing films like "ABCD 2" and "Race 3." His upcoming directorial project is titled Be Happy.
