Aamir Khan, who has been away from acting since the failure of Lal Singh Chadha , is reportedly returning to the screen. Bollywood sources reveal that he is set to feature in the sequel to Taare Zameen Par. However, Aamir has not confirmed this news. Recently, it was revealed that he has agreed to act in a biopic about the legendary singer Kishore Kumar. This project has been in talks for a long time.
Director Anurag Basu is leading the film, and Bollywood producer Bhushan Kumar is involved in the production. Several meetings have already taken place between Aamir, Anurag, and Bhushan regarding the biopic.For many years, directors Anurag Basu and Sujeet Sarkar had plans to bring Kishore Kumar’s story to the screen. There were even rumors that Ranbir Kapoor was once considered for the role. However, production was halted due to issues with getting permission from Kishore Kumar’s family.
Recently, Amit Kumar, Kishore’s son, mentioned that the biopic would be most accurate if made by their family. He believes they can best present the true story of the legendary singer.
